We want to ensure that your visit and stay go as smoothly as possible. As such, we wish to emphasize that there are two very important matters to which you must attend in order to gain entry - with your equipment - to the United Arab Emirates:
1.You must obtain an entry visa – please see below 2.You must register your media equipment – a comprehensive list, inclusive of serial numbers, must be provided in advance to SportAccord Convention’s administration office
Please make sure that you have taken care of the above formalities before your trip to the UAE to avoid unnecessary hassles upon entry, or having to leave your equipment at the airport.
Nationalities from the following countries do not require a visa to travel to the UAE, as the VISA is issued upon arrival, at the airport, with a stamp to the passport:
Western Europe: France, Great Britain, Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Finland, Spain, Monaco, Vatican City, Iceland, Andora, San Marino, Liechtenstein. America: USA, Canada. Oceania: Australia, New Zealand. Asia: Japan, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, South Korea. GCC: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait.
Countries that are not listed above require visas. Please contact the UAE embassy in your country to obtain your visa. Visa processing takes time (48 hours, with no exception), so please take this into account. Additionally, if your visa is denied, the processing fee is non-refundable. We apologise for any inconvenience. |
